I’m Valerie Breshears, an award-winning, self-taught artist known for my bright colors, bold whimsy, and signature “swirlies” technique. Inspired by artists like Frida Kahlo, Georgia O’Keeffe, and Van Gogh, I create expressive, joy-filled paintings that blend emotion, imagination, and a touch of the surreal. 

My work explores beauty in everyday moments, nature, folklore, and the magic tucked into ordinary life. Through painting and mixed media, I aim to make art that feels alive, heartfelt, and unmistakably mine.
