Sarah cochrane / sajco art

     "My name is Sarah Cochrane.  I have lived in Mt Juliet, Tennessee for 1 year.  I paint with oils and pastels but mostly with oils.

     I discovered my interest in art when I was in high school.  I was encouraged by my art teacher to keep trying.  I did keep trying but not until after college did I take a serious interest in pursuing painting.  I got my decree in Medical Technology and worked in that field for 10 years.

    After marriage and having two children, I started taking lessons through two local instructors over a period of 28 years.  I have attended various workshops both in oil and pastel painting.  I also have done online workshops which have proved to be very helpful.  I have entered my work in different art shows and have won awards for some of my entries."
