Lavonous Byars / "lavonous' Artistry"

Lavonous Byars is a contemporary visual artist based in Smyrna, Tennessee, known for his vibrant acrylic abstracts and cosmic-themed spray paintings.  Originally from Decatur, Illinois, Byars has been passionate about art since childhood, drawing early inspiration from the late Bob Ross.  He is dedicated to using his artistic talents to serve and uplift his community.  

Byars has showcased his work in various local exhibitions, including the Boro Art Crawl and multiple shows in Murfreesboro, TN.  He has also collaborated with local artists on mural projects during 2021 and 2022.   In February 2024, his artwork was featured at Trellis & Vine in Smyrna, where he displayed a collection of acrylic pieces of various sizes.  

Through his brand, Lavonous Artistry, Byars offers original artworks, including pieces like "Cosmic Paradise" and "Planet Pink Paradise," as well as custom commissions.  His creations often explore themes of space, emotion, and imagination.  

Residing in LaVergne, Tennessee, since 2012 with his wife Angel and their three children, Byars continues to inspire others through his art and community involvement.
